Crafting T-Shirts

I recently finished fulfilling the last of my orders and dropped them off at FedEx and the post office. However, since it's already late Friday, they probably won't ship until Monday. This means they might not make it to the customers before Christmas. I have quite a few more shirts to make, and my plan is to get them done and ready for shipment tomorrow.

Custom Requests

Among the orders I received, there were a couple of custom requests that I found interesting. The first one is a retirement shirt, which I think is really cute. It's a special gift to celebrate someone's retirement. The second custom request is for a Clark shirt from the movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." I had already planned on making one for myself because it's my favorite show. So, I'm excited to create these unique designs.

Personal Projects

In addition to fulfilling orders, I also want to make a special Christmas shirt for my daughter. I've been looking for a cute design that I can personalize with her name. Since I'm a bit short on time, I'm searching for something I can do last minute. It'll be a nice surprise for her to wear on Christmas day.

Love for Simple Shirts

I must say, I really love making these simple shirts. They come out excellent, and they're perfect for the Christmas season. I'm determined to finish the rest of the shirts and make sure they reach their recipients on time.

Relaxing Day After a Fun-Filled Day

Yesterday, I took my daughter to Disney on Ice as one of her Christmas presents. It was so much fun! I found myself singing along to all the songs, except for the ones from the movie "Coco." I hadn't seen that one yet, but I've heard great things about it. I definitely need to watch it soon.

Today, I'm hoping to have a good hour of relaxation before my daughter wakes up. It's been a bit of a hectic morning since I slept late, but I'm determined to record a couple of videos today. Although it might be a challenge with my daughter around, I'm determined to get everything done and shipped out before Christmas.

Christmas Orders and Designs

I can't help but wonder how everyone else is doing with their craft videos and Christmas orders. Are you also experiencing an influx of last-minute orders? It's great to have so many customers, but sometimes it feels overwhelming, especially with the current state of the mail system. Customers expect instant shipments, even though they just placed their orders. I'm doing my best to fulfill them as quickly as possible.

Last week, I posted all the Christmas designs I had made, but guess what? I forgot about three of them! I'm kicking myself for overlooking them. Nevertheless, I'll add these designs to my website. Who knows, someone might still want them before or after Christmas. Lesson learned for next year though - no more last-minute additions!

Learning from Trial and Error

This is my first year running my own business, so I'm definitely learning as I go. It's been trial and error, but I'm embracing the process. Slow days and bad days are a part of the journey, and it's during these times that we should keep pushing forward. After all, the slow days eventually pick up, as I experienced after Christmas.

For those of you who are also running your own businesses, remember to speak life and positivity into it. Keep grinding, stay focused, and keep creating. Even on the tough days, it's important to stay motivated. The orders will come, and the business will thrive. Just have faith and keep going.

Holiday Plans

Before I wrap up, I wanted to let you know that there won't be a craft video next week. It's Christmas weekend, and I want to enjoy the holiday with my baby girl. However, I will post a vlog, so you can still keep up with what's going on in my life.

On another note, I'm still waiting to hear back from the radio station about the schedule for my commercial. I sent them the script, and I'm excited to hear it on the air. Hopefully, they'll get back to me this week with some good news.
