Opening a Store on Etsy

Hey guys, Jules here! Thank you for tuning in to my weekly update on my cross stitching channel. I want to start off by announcing that I have recently soft-opened my store on Etsy. I had initially told myself that I wouldn't open a store on Etsy, but after spending the weekend trying to figure out how to post patterns on my blog, I realized that it was becoming too complicated. So, I decided to launch my store on Etsy instead. I understand that Etsy may not be perfect, but it provides a platform for me to share and sell my patterns. If you're interested, you can find my store under the name "Stitching Jewels" on Etsy. I've uploaded a variety of projects that include black and white, grayscale, and color patterns.

Challenges with Printing Physical Patterns

While I initially planned to offer physical patterns for sale, I have encountered some issues with printing. It seems that several printers in my town are currently unavailable for larger scale printing. Despite placing orders at multiple places, I haven't been able to get any prints done. As a temporary solution, I have decided to focus on digital patterns until I can ensure that the printing process runs smoothly. I apologize for any inconvenience caused to those who prefer physical patterns. Rest assured, I am actively working on resolving this issue.

Focus on Digital Patterns

So for now, my store only offers digital patterns. If you're interested in stitching any of my designs, you can find them on Etsy. Please bear with me as I work out any kinks in the printing process. If you're looking for physical patterns, it will be available in about a week or less. If you favorite my store, you will receive notifications whenever new patterns are added.

Exploring Different Projects on Etsy

I have put up a wide range of projects on my Etsy store. The subject matter of the patterns varies, as I haven't yet decided on a specific theme. Currently, I am experimenting with different designs and styles. I have plans to create text-based patterns and incorporate unique sayings. Taking a Break and Enjoying Stitching

As it's Labor Day weekend, I have decided to take some time off to relax and indulge in my favorite hobby – stitching. I have been working on several projects and this break will allow me to focus on completing some of them. Despite having a lot on my plate, stitching is something I can control and enjoy. It's a creative outlet that brings me joy and helps me unwind.

Progress on Current Projects

Now, let's talk about what I have stitched this week. I made significant progress on a project called "Dachshund". I managed to stitch all the way to the bottom corner and filled in a complex pattern on the front foot. It's coming along nicely, and I'm pleased with how it looks. In addition to "Dachshund", I stitched a little on "Boba Fett" and "Rainy Watering Place". However, I don't remember the exact details of my progress on "Boba Fett", and I'll showcase "Sassy Boba Fett" instead.

Plans for Upcoming Livestreams

This week, I will be hosting a livestream on Thursday, although it might start a bit later than usual. I have some work happening in the basement, and I need to ensure it's completed before I go live. If everything goes smoothly, I'll be streaming on Sunday as well.
