Introduction

Hey guys and welcome back to my YouTube channel! My name is Kelly, and I am so excited to share another DIY bracelet/video with you all today. As you can see from the title, my Etsy shop, Kelly Prepster Studio, is finally reopening, and I couldn't be more thrilled. In this video, I will also be introducing my new YouTube channel, Kelly Prepster Studio, where I will be focusing on bead making content.

Reopening of Etsy Shop

After putting my Etsy shop on vacation mode, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. However, I realized that I love this channel as a platform for sharing fashion content, and Kelly Prepster Studio is the perfect place for me to showcase my outfits and respond to your comments. So, while I continue to focus on my fashion content here, I will be posting once a week bead videos on my new channel.

Launching a New YouTube Channel

I am extremely excited to be sharing a new channel with you all. Kelly Prepster Studio is dedicated to bead making and all things DIY. I have already posted a few videos on the new channel, and I cannot wait to see where this new journey takes us. If you're interested in this type of content, please click the link in the description box below and subscribe to my new channel.

Bead Making Videos on the New Channel

On Kelly Prepster Studio, I will be posting bead making videos every Sunday. These videos will cover various topics and themes, such as beachy designs, color combinations, horoscope signs, and more. I would love to hear your suggestions for future videos, so please let me know in the comments below.

New Bracelets Listed on Etsy

In addition to the bead making videos, I will also be listing new bracelets on my Etsy shop. These bracelets will feature different designs and styles, and I will be adding them regularly. Be sure to check out my Etsy shop and keep an eye out for new arrivals. The link to my shop is provided in the description box below.

Bracelet Ideas and Inspirational Quotes

To kickstart the new channel, I decided to create a themed video featuring inspirational quotes. I believe it's essential to have inspiration when starting something new, and these quotes will serve as a reminder of the journey we're embarking on together. I have compiled a list of bracelet ideas, each featuring a different word or phrase. Examples include "try," "believe," "kindness," "change," "strength," "work," "love," "begin," "create," "fearless," and "adventure."

Choosing Colors for the Bracelets

Now comes the fun part—choosing the colors for each bracelet. I associate different colors with each word, and it adds a unique touch to the designs. For example, I selected a shiny gold-yellow color for "fearless," as it reminds me of fire and passion. I encourage you to get creative when selecting colors for your bracelets and let your imagination run wild.

Supplies Needed for Bracelet Making

To create these bracelets, you will need a few supplies. First, you'll need elastic, which can be purchased in large rolls from stores like Walmart. You'll also need a pair of scissors for cutting the elastic and a tray to organize the beads. Additionally, you'll require a variety of beads, including alphabet beads for spelling out words. These can be found online or at craft stores.

Step-by-Step Bracelet Making Process

Now, let's dive into the bracelet making process. I prefer using my iPad for designing the bracelets, but you can use pen and paper if you prefer. Start by making a list of the words or phrases you want the bracelets to say. Once you have your list, lay out your beads on a tray and start spelling out the words. Arrange the beads in the desired order, using post-its to create a straight line. Once you have all the words spelled out, it's time to start beading.

Begin by placing the elastic string on your wrist, leaving it on the roll to prevent the beads from falling off. Using the tray of organized beads, slide them onto the string one by one, following the pattern you created. Once all the beads are on, cut the elastic and tie it securely. Repeat this process for each bracelet, and soon enough, you'll have a beautiful collection of handmade bracelets.

Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed this DIY bracelet/video and are as excited about the reopening of my Etsy shop and the launch of my new YouTube channel as I am. Be sure to check out my Etsy shop for these newly listed bracelets and use the discount code "youtube" during checkout for a special offer. Remember to subscribe to my new channel, Kelly Prepster Studio, for more bead making videos every Sunday. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you in the next video!
