Zero Star versus Five Star Etsy Slime Shop Review
It's Christy here and today I'm back with an exciting video that I haven't done in a long time on my channel. We are going to review zero-star and five-star Etsy slime shops. Before we dive into the review, I want to remind you of our upcoming Black Friday Restock - the biggest sale of the year. The shop opens on Thursday, November 25th, at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time (5 pm Pacific Standard Time). We have a lot of amazing deals and around 1500 slimes available, so make sure to set your alarms and be there right away.
Peachy Jelly Slimes
Packaging and Delivery
First up, let's talk about Peachy Jelly Slimes, a five-star slime shop we love. The package took around 11 days to arrive, which is a little lengthy, but the seller did apologize for the delay. The package was nicely bubble-wrapped and included a business card, borax, and a candy. They even added an adorable clay piece that was a bit difficult to take off the paper but remained in great condition.
Strawberry Taiyaki Clay Slime Review
Now, let's get into the review of the DIY clay slime, Strawberry Taiyaki. The base is a super thick and stretchy slime with a beautiful pink color. It also comes with a thick clear slime that you mix with the base, along with clay strawberry and clay taiyaki pieces. The slime is not very stretchy initially but becomes softer after mixing the clay and syrup. It has great bubble pops, fluffiness, and a delicious sweet strawberry scent. Overall, I highly recommend this slime from Peachy Jelly Slimes.
Slime Shady Shop
Packaging and Delivery
Next, let's move on to Slime Shady Shop, another five-star slime shop. Their package arrived surprisingly fast, taking only four days to ship across the country. The slimes were nicely bubble-wrapped and they included a business card, borax, and plenty of candies.
Baja Blast Icy Slime Review
Now, let's review the Baja Blast Icy slime. It is a two-tone colored slime with pretty glitter and star glitters. The colors were hardly mixed during transit, providing a visually appealing experience as you fluff the slime. The texture is sizzly, fluffy, and not too wet to the touch. The scent perfectly resembles Baja Blast, making it a must-try for icy slime lovers. Overall, I give this slime from Slime Shady Shop a perfect rating.
Watermelon Chunks Slime Review
Moving on, we have the Watermelon Chunks slime. This clear slime is filled with jelly cube pieces, watermelon fimos, and seed pieces. It has a juicy texture that makes your mouth water while playing with it. Surprisingly, it is thick and stretchy despite its density. The bubble pops are amazing, and the scent resembles watermelon Jolly Ranchers. This slime is a highly recommended option for watermelon lovers.
Sweetarts Cloud Slime Review
Last but not least from Slime Shady Shop, we have the Sweetarts Cloud slime. This two-tone colored slime comes topped with heart fimos, giving it a pretty appearance. Mixing the two colors together creates a beautiful bluish-green shade. The texture is fluffy, stretchy, and slightly sizzly. It's a perfect cloud slime that doesn't leave much residue and has a slow and steady drizzle. The scent is reminiscent of Sweetarts candy, making it an irresistible combination. I give this slime a five-star rating.
Wuwa Slimes (Zero Star Shop)
Packaging and Delivery
Moving on to a zero-star slime shop, let's discuss Wuwa Slimes. I ordered a slime from them which was shipped from Canada, resulting in slightly higher shipping costs. However, the slime was nicely bubble-wrapped, and they included borax, candy, stickers, and a cute business card. The overall presentation was impressive.
Chocolate Croissant Slime Review
I ordered the Chocolate Croissant slime from Wuwa Slimes and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The slime had a thick and glossy base with a sweet chocolate scent. It also came with a realistic chocolate croissant, a packet of chocolate clay chunks, and a chocolate charm. Although I didn't want to mix the slime due to its perfect appearance, I did it and the texture turned into a soft and creamy butter slime. The bubble pops and clickiness of this slime were amazing. The scent was delightful, smelling just like a sweet chocolate croissant. Overall, this was an exceptional slime that I highly recommend.
Sporty Slimery (Bonus Five Star Shop)
Packaging and Delivery
As a bonus, I received a package from Sporty Slimery, a five-star slime shop on Etsy. They sent several slimes, along with a handwritten note, business card, borax, and extra fidgets. The packaging was nice and the goodies were well-presented.
Pumpkin Spice Latte slime Review
One of the slimes I tried from Sporty Slimery was the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It had a thick butter slime base, which I mixed with clay to create a whipped topping. The slime had a soft and creamy texture, perfect for poking and spreading. The scent, however, didn't quite capture the pumpkin spice latte aroma, and instead had a slight perfume odor.
Jelly Donut Slime Review
Next up, I tried the Jelly Donut slime. It had a glossy slime base with some stickiness. The slime came with clay to create a donut shape, adding a unique touch to the package. After mixing the clay into the base, the texture turned into a fluffy and creamy slime. It had good bubble pops and was overall a great slime. However, the scent wasn't noticeable.
Alien Attack Floam Slime Review
Moving on, I tried the Alien Attack floam slime. This slime was filled with white and green foam beads, providing a crunchy texture and satisfying bubble pops. It did become slightly sticky after playing with it for a while, but a bit of activator fixed the issue. The scent was light or unscented and it was an enjoyable slime overall.
Grape Splash Cloud Slime Review
Lastly, I tried the Grape Splash Cloud slime. While it initially felt wet and tore easily, mixing it improved the texture. It had a fluffy and slightly wet feeling, with a slow and steady drizzle. The scent was either subtle or unscented. Overall, I would recommend checking out Sporty Slimery for their great slimes.
Conclusion
In conclusion, we reviewed a mix of zero-star and five-star slime shops on Etsy. The five-star shops, Peachy Jelly Slimes and Slime Shady Shop, provided excellent slimes with impressive packaging and delivery. The zero-star shop, Wuwa Slimes, surprised us with the quality of their slime and presentation. We also had a bonus review from Sporty Slimery, a five-star shop, which delivered a great variety of slimes. Overall, the slime community on Etsy offers a wide range of options for slime enthusiasts.
