Welcome back to my second studio blog! Today's post is particularly exciting because I am thrilled to announce that I will be hosting a pop-up shop for my Etsy store, Willow and Larko. For those who don't know, Willow and Larko is an online store where I sell handmade prints and wall art that are sold digitally, as well as in print and framed formats. In this blog post, I will take you through the preparations for the pop-up shop, including the marketing materials, the unveiling of the outdoor banner, showcasing the prints, and the fulfillment of orders. So, let's dive in!

About Willow and Larko

Willow and Larko is an Etsy store that specializes in selling handmade prints and wall art. Our collection includes a variety of designs ranging from cute sayings in beautiful fonts to stunning watercolor prints. All of our prints are sold digitally, allowing customers to print them at home, or they can choose to have them professionally printed and framed. Our aim is to provide customers with unique and high-quality artwork that adds a touch of charm and personality to any space.

The Pop-Up Shop

Date and Location

The pop-up shop will be held on May 8th, just one day before Mother's Day here in the US. The event will take place in Hampton, Virginia, and will feature several small businesses coming together to showcase their products. It's an excellent opportunity for local shoppers to discover unique and handcrafted items for themselves or as gifts for their loved ones.

Discount Offers

To make the pop-up shop even more exciting, Willow and Larko will be offering a 20% discount on all purchases made on the day of the event. Whether you bring your mom or a friend, or simply drop by alone, you'll be able to enjoy this special discount. It's the perfect chance to treat yourself or find a thoughtful gift for someone special.

Marketing Materials

As part of the preparations for the pop-up shop, I had to order various marketing materials to make our space stand out and create a visually appealing display.

Custom T-shirts

One of the most exciting items I ordered was custom t-shirts for my team, consisting of three members. The t-shirts feature the updated Willow and Larko logo, which now includes the complete business name. The front of the t-shirt proudly displays "Willow and Larko" in a beautiful swirly font, while the back showcases our website. The t-shirts are made of high-quality heather gray fabric, ensuring they not only look great but also feel comfortable to wear. It's incredible seeing my business name on an actual t-shirt!

Stickers and Business Cards

To enhance the packaging of orders and add a special touch to our presence at the pop-up shop, I ordered stickers and business cards. The stickers will be used to seal the posters in tubes and add a branded touch to the packaging. Although the color appears darker than expected, it still adds an elegant touch to the overall presentation. The business cards, ordered from another print shop, will serve as a handy way for customers to remember our website and contact details.

Outdoor Banner

One of the highlights of the pop-up shop will be the outdoor banner. This large, eye-catching banner will be hung from a seven-foot table, drawing attention to our booth. The banner features the Willow and Larko logo, along with our website and a stunning print set displayed in a home setting. The attention to detail, such as the inclusion of a QR code that links to our website, makes the banner both visually appealing and informative. Seeing it in person is even more breathtaking than I imagined!
